Dale

Dale is a popular seaside town, and has a shingly beach with some sand at low tide. The bay is well sheltered and is popular for watersports; Dale has a sailing & windsurfing center and there is a pontoon and slipway on the south side of the beach. A 5 minute walk west takes you to West Dale , a larger sandy beach.

Dale has a few small shops, a pub, and a cafe serving ice cream above the beach. There is a car park next to the beach, which charges during the summer.
