Looking west at high tide, cut off from the rest of the beach, which can be glimpsed on the left.

Tenby (south beach)
Tenby's south beach is split into two at high tide, both of which are accessible, but most of the beach by Tenby Castle is covered at high tide. At low tide the beach is much bigger than the north beach and less crowded further west.
The town of Tenby is a very picturesque harbour town with many shops. There are toilets and a cafe on the slipway down to the south beach.
Parking can be found in the pay & display multi storey car park in town, a short walk away from the sea front where both of Tenby's beaches can be accessed.
