Watwick Bay

Watwick Bay has a small sandy beach and a few rocks, usually well sheltered from the wind making it a popular anchorage for yachts. There are the remains of an old wreckage on the south side of the beach.

There are no facilities or car parks by the beach, which is accessible from the coast path. Dale , which is a few minutes drive away, has a cafe, shop and pebbly beach.

If you are visiting Watwick Bay by car, there is very limited free parking on the corner that joins the public footpath to the beach with the road, a five minute walk from the beach. If there is no space there, you can also park in the free public car park further along St Ann's Head, half an hour walk from the beach, or your can park in Dale, which is about an hour along the coast path to the beach.
