Wisemans Bridge
Wisemans bridge is adjacent to
Amroth
, and consists of a smaller pebble bank above the sand flats at low tide. There are lots of rocks in the beach, and the rockpools are a haven for wildlife.
This beach was used for the D-Day Normandy landing rehersals in 1944. It is possible to walk here from Saundersfoot, passing through two tunnels that housed an old railway line for exporting coal and iron in the 19th century.
There is a pub on the east of the sea front.
